Ok the vacuume is finally put away and it's time to catch up on my blogging.
Halloween was such a fun time this year we filled it with fun events the whole month log. It was wonderfully warm so we enjoyed ton's of great activities outside. Here are some of the things that we did.
Do you think baby London is loved??? We went to a Halloween event at Thanksgiving Point with some neighborhood friends. This is Reese and Wyatt giving all their love to baby London.
London picking out pumpkins
Now some of my friends have accused me of London being my favorite child because most of my pictures are of her (yes Im talking about you Lisa O.) but it's not my fault that I have burned out my other kids and they will no longer pose for a picture.
OK 3 out of 4 isn't that bad.
I took the kids to pick out pumpkins with Grandma Faunice and Grandpa Richard.
Baby London just had to see if they taste as good as they look.
They ran through the corn maze and got lost a few times.
We went to Gardner Village with some friends in the neigborhood and my mom. They had a ton of witches all dressed up around the whole village so Lisa planned this adorable scavenger hunt for the kids to find different witches. They loved it.
This is cute Grandma Faunice with the kids
This was our ward Halloween Party with Wendy and Heather. I just love for a chance to dress up!
So my kids dress up this year with no cute theme or rhyme or reason but they were all cute on an individual scale. Brayden was a broken leg skelton. Tyson is a space commander. Wyatt is a cowboy on a horse with a totally awsome mustache (his favorite part) and London is a beautiful butterfly. They all looked so cute.
Happy October!!!

What is this???
Does anyone know what this picture is all about? It represents my life right now. It is my vacuum that has been sitting in my living room for two days now just waiting to pick up all the dirt that is on my floor before it finds it's way into London's mouth. It seems like more and more tasks in my life only get half way done. I did bring it all the way out from it's resting spot but I can't seem to find the time to use it. Do you think it fits in with the decor enough to leave it for a few more days?

GOING PRIVATE
I think I finally figured out how to do my setting on the blog to only allow friends to read my blog. I have just head some really weird stories lately about blog stocking (which I do my self) but i am just a curious house wife unlike the others stories I heard about so I need to put my blog as private access. If you feel like you would like to see what is going on in the Packers life every once in a while please email me your email address and I will program it in to view our blog. I love to blog because I feel like it is my families journal and a fun way to keep in touch with friends so if you are interested please email me at:
lisapacker1@yahoo.com
I'll be doing this in about 2 weeks so try and email me by then.
Thanks!!! Lisa

BODY WORLD
We went to the Body World Exhibit yesterday while Chip had the day off and the boys are out of school. It's an exhibit with real human bodies that have the skin removed and a special process to preserve the body so you can view muscles, skeletal structure and organs. It was amazing to say the least. We couldn't take our camera's in for pictures but the bodies were more than I expected. The whole exhibit was focused on the heart because it is the central of our body, both physically and emotionally and how everything else focuses around the heart. There were plenty of examples of healthy muscles and bones, and organs. It helped me to get a better understanding of how precious and complex our bodies are and why is so important to take care of them. At the end they have some animal organs that you can touch with gloves. Our boys thought it was absolutely fascinating and kept thanking us for taking them to see it. It was so educational so if anyone gets a chance I highly recommend it because it is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I think it is here until Dec.

Brayden's 10th Birthday
My sweet Brayden turned 10 last Saturday and we tried to have as big of rip roaring party as we could with a injured leg. Brayden wanted a late night with his friends where we played games and watched a movie. The games we played games were competitions to win tickets like bubble blowing contest, best pumpkin decoration, pop bottle bowling, pictionary and stuff like that and they turned in their tickets for prizes then they watched Scooby Doo the movie. It only took 2 1/2 hours to clean up after. But it was all worth it because Brayden is such an amazing child and I feel so lucky that he is my son. I love that he is so caring and so emotionally mature that he would do anything for anyone. I love that he is so passionate about what ever he is interested in from Webkins to Rock Band. I love that he was my first child and he loves me as his mother even though I make mistakes every day. Brayden you are the best.
Brayden couldn't decide on a cake so we made two cakes- one Jordan football with mint icecream in the middle and one baseball, his two favorite loves!

ENJOY THE JOURNEY!!!!

President Thomas S. Monson
I just had to post my favorite thing about this wonderful conference weekend that we just had. I absolutely love conference weekend because I get to spend time at home with my family watching our Prophet and his apostles share wonderful uplifting messages with no other interruptions and no guilt feeling about laundry not being put away. We usually make some really yummy food so this weekend Chip made this incredible apple, onion and cheddar soup that was to die for. Anyway back to my original thought, my adult ADD kicked in. I loved when our Prophet President Monson shared his testimony about life and to "enjoy the journey." I love this statement! I have to admit that I usually start thinking of all the things that I need to work on and improve but this one, I feel like it's defiantly one I can master. Life gets so busy and so many things to do in a day but to just stop for a moment and enjoy the journey is the best advise I could have right now. I love my kids and the ages they are at. Even though "my time" doesn't really happen to much I have little ones that need me and I make a difference in their lives. It is a really busy time but I will make my journey a memorable one no matter what crazy things come my way. I just wanted to pass that message on, enjoy the journey.

Family Outing
Brayden and Tyson are off track for the next 3 weeks and with my biggest helper out with a broken leg we don't have a lot of options for going out. On Chip's day off we decided to go to the Thanksgiving Point gardens and rent an electronic wheelchair to liven up Braydens vacation time. The gardens there are so breathtaking and it was a beautiful fall day with temperatures that felt like summer. We ate lunch at the cafe and then explored the gardens. I love activities like this because I can just go crazy taking pictures because everywhere you look is amazing. Brayden loved driving the "Jazzy", Tyson caught 16 grasshoppers, Wyatt hitch hiked a ride on the jazzy with Brayden and London just explored a new world of tasting flower, grass, and gravel. It was a beautiful family day.

ZARBEE'S

Many of you might be aware of the problem with cough syrup for children under 6 years old in the fact that it is just not safe and the government wants to pull it from the shelves but have not because there is no alternative, until now. My brother in law Zak who is a pediatrician has invented an all natural cough syrup for children (adults can use it also). Last night Zak was on the channel 4 news talking about the harmful effects of regular cough medicines and how this all natural is safe for children 12 months and older because of it's unique blend of a special dark honey that has proven to help relive coughs. It will be ready in stores like Harmon's in the first of November. So I just wanted to let all my friends know that there is something now on the market safe and effective for our precious little ones. Go to www.zarbees.com to check it out. Thanks Zak for making our world a better place!!!

OH NO- NOT NOW!!!!!
Yesterday I received the dreaded phone call that every mom thinks about when her child leaves every morning. It's when the caller ID says the school is calling. You hope it is just because your child is out of lunch money or forgot some homework but this phone call was not about that. It was the receptionist telling us that Brayden was hurt at recess playing soccer and his leg might be broken, they were to afraid to move him so they have called an ambulance. There was panic, tears, then more panic. Chip and I arrived at the school to see Brayden on a stretcher and half of the school surrounding him. We followed the ambulance to the hospital where the paramedics and hospital staff took such great care of him. Brayden took a moment to say a prayer that he would be alright. When the doctor told us the news it tore our hearts to hear that he had broke both this tibia and fibula and he would be in a cast for the next 6 weeks. The hardest part was realizing that Brayden's season as quarterback was over. We tried to cheer him up by telling him he is following in his footsteps of his hero Tom Brady but it didn't help much. Brayden was so tough and he didn't even get put under when they set his leg. He's focusing on the good by enjoying a lot more video games then usual. He is such an amazing kid and we are so grateful that he is alright but talk about bad timing. Is there a good time for a broken leg??? It's just ironic that I was so afraid that he would get hurt in football and he got hurt playing at school. Life is funny that way.
Check out that huge bump!!!

London update
I know this is exciting to basically me and maybe grandma but London has been busy moving and shaking these last few weeks. I think a big part is due to her brother Wyatt and wanting to keep up with him. I just love her energy and especially her fancy yoga pose. This girl can move!!!

Boston
We just spent a wonderful, fun, amazing, and memorable week in Boston and it meant so much. Boston is such a special place to me. Even though we have have been back in Utah for almost 2 years, it's a place where part of my heart will always be. I cherish our time there for so many reasons. Partly because of all that Boston has to offer. I am someone who loves adventure and everyday can be an adventure in Boston. All of the people that I met and enriched my life, made me a better person because of the friendships that I made. My little boys grew up there. But most of all I loved the person I became while living in Boston. I was so grateful that we went back there and all of those wonderful memories came flooding back to me. I wish I was more poetic and I could put into words into how I feel about a place but I just wanted to share some photos of our friends and our favorite places of Boston. I am so happy that we live in Utah. I love our life and all we enjoy here but Boston- there is no other place in the world that means more to me.

GIRLS TRIP
All I can say is a BIG thank you girls for a wonderful laugh my guts out time in Ceder City/ St. George last weekend. We went down for the cultural experience to watch plays at the Shakespear Festival and I ended up with stronger stomach muscles from all the laughing. It is great to just be with the girls some times and then it makes me grateful to come home and be a mom again.
