We went to the Body World Exhibit yesterday while Chip had the day off and the boys are out of school. It's an exhibit with real human bodies that have the skin removed and a special process to preserve the body so you can view muscles, skeletal structure and organs. It was amazing to say the least. We couldn't take our camera's in for pictures but the bodies were more than I expected. The whole exhibit was focused on the heart because it is the central of our body, both physically and emotionally and how everything else focuses around the heart. There were plenty of examples of healthy muscles and bones, and organs. It helped me to get a better understanding of how precious and complex our bodies are and why is so important to take care of them. At the end they have some animal organs that you can touch with gloves. Our boys thought it was absolutely fascinating and kept thanking us for taking them to see it. It was so educational so if anyone gets a chance I highly recommend it because it is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I think it is here until Dec.
